Psychedelic Therapy

Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy (PAP) is a therapeutic approach which integrates the use of a psychoactive agent, such as Ketamine, with forms of therapeutic support. I co-founded Riverbird Clinic in 2019, Maine’s first psychedelic-assisted therapy clinic, where we offer individual and group Ketamine-Assisted Therapy (KAP). I have completed various trainings in PAP including in MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy with MAPS, and KAP trainings through Polaris Insight. I currently offer a few forms of psychedelic work:

  • Psychedelic-Assisted Somatic Therapy

  • Psychedelic Integration Coaching

  • Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy

Somatic Therapy is an approach that emphasizes the intricate relationship between the mind and body, recognizing that physical sensations, emotions, and past traumas are profoundly interconnected. The adjunctive use of a legal psychedelic medicine can potentiate the depth and efficiency of somatic therapy. In the context of somatic therapy, psychedelic medicines are typically used at a low “psycholytic” dose. Find more information about the somatic therapy I offer here.

I offer Psychedelic Integration Coaching and harm reduction to those who have experienced or are considering engaging in a non-ordinary state experience such as with a psychedelic.

I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy in my capacity as a clinician at Riverbird Clinic in Portland, Maine. Riverbird is a psychedelic therapy clinic which offers a wide offer of individual and group work. For more information see: www.riverbirdclinic.com
